Hydraulic Oil for Arburg Injection Molding Machine
10 products
Hydraulic systems in Rounder Injection Molding Machines typically require ISO 46 grade hydraulic oil. But in some cases, ISO 32 may be needed. You can use Zinc or Zinc Free oils, but it’s important not to mix them. The oil you use must meet the German spec DIN 51524 (HLP). Here are some items that meet the specification.
The hydraulic system of a machine requires several factors to work properly, including a well-designed system, quality component manufacturing, and regular maintenance. However, one crucial factor is the cleanliness and suitability of the hydraulic oil. This oil not only transfers energy but also protects the moving parts of lubricating elements from corrosion.
Today's hydraulic technology continues to develop towards high pressure, integration, and miniaturization. Electronic technology is also being applied to hydraulic systems, which puts ever higher requirements on their reliability, sensitivity, stability, and lifespan. Therefore, it's important to ensure that the hydraulic oil used in the injection molding machine is of high quality and cleanliness.
The hydraulic system should be kept between 45 to 50 degrees for optimal performance. Temperature changes affect the oil viscosity, which can impact components like cylinders and valves and lead to reduced accuracy and sensitivity, especially in precision injection machines.
Maintain the right temperature of hydraulic oil to avoid seal aging and cracks. High oil temperatures can be due to oil circuit or cooling system failure. Low temperatures also impact the injection molding machine. Monitor temperature closely.
Sufficient oil levels are important for hydraulic systems. Low oil levels can cause higher oil temperature and air dissolving into the oil, affecting oil quality and system performance. Check for oil leaks and replace worn or loose components as needed, and replenish oil levels after maintenance. Oxidation stability is a key property of hydraulic oil. Oxidation produces sludge, wood tar, and carbon residue that contaminate the hydraulic system, causing wear, blockages, and malfunction.
Hydraulic oil's oxidation rate depends on factors such as temperature. Use suitable oil, check its color regularly to monitor oxidation, and replace it after a certain number of working hours to maintain optimal performance.
For proper use of the injection molding machine:
- Regularly check oil pressure level and cleanliness
- Check the concentration of pressure oil during wet weather
- Inspect water pipes to prevent water from mixing with oil
- Keep oil filter clean
- Check fuel tank for debris
- Replenish pressure oil on time
It is important to routinely check all moving parts, travel switches, screws, oil hoses, joint parts, and look for any oil leaks to maintain the equipment's good condition. Replace or tighten any loose parts as needed. Additionally, pressure oil should be replaced if used for an extended period to prolong the life of oil switches, oil pumps, and sealing rings.
