Is Your Company Tax Exempt?
Follow the steps below to update your BuySinopec.com account for tax-exempt status.
- Create an Online Account: Register here.
- Complete a Tax Exempt Form: Find the correct form for your state.
- Email Your Form: Send the completed document to tax@buysinopec.com.
- Wait for Confirmation: You’ll receive an email once your account has been verified as tax-exempt.
After your confirmation, you’ll be able to check out without being charged sales tax.
If taxes are not charged in your state and you have not submitted a tax-exempt form, you may be required to file use tax directly with your state.
Important
Refunds for sales tax are only available if a valid tax-exempt form is received within 7 days of purchase. Prior orders are not eligible for tax refunds.
